I have been calling for reform of the regulatory framework for SIPPs almost from the time that SIPPs were first regulated in 2007. 
The dust is settling on George Osborne's pension proposals, and now that we have passed the tax year end and the Easter holidays I am sure we will see reams of research and, hopefully, product innovation.
With all the recent chatter about drawdown reform, no one spotted that the Government would advocate unrestricted access to pension pots for all.
