Two directors at Sipp provider Taylor Patterson have qualified as Chartered Financial Planners.
Keith Pressler has worked at Taylor Patterson since April 2000 and was promoted to director in August 2012. Jamie Thompson joined the firm in 2004 as a graduate trainee and also became a director in 2012.
In order to achieve the chartered qualification, Mr Pressler and Mr Thompson had to sit several exams and have five years relevant experience.
It means the pair are now qualified at Level 6, higher than the regulatory requirement of Level 4.
Taylor Patterson is also recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute as a Chartered Financial Planning firm. This recognises firms which have a high standard of excellence, professionalism and commitment to customers, partners and employees.

Mr Pressler said: "With the Financial Planning market becoming increasingly challenging, we wanted to ensure that, as both individual advisers and as part of the wider Taylor Patterson team, we are fully equipped to provide the best possible professional advice to our clients."
Gillian Bardin, managing director of Taylor Patterson, said: "The chartered status is the ultimate symbol of professionalism. Championing individual achievement, the title signals the attainment of qualifications and verifies the outstanding professional standards held by our company."
