Barnett Waddingham, a Sipp provider and one of the UK’s largest independent providers of actuarial, admin and consultancy services, has won a contract to provide admin services to the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pension Scheme.
NHBC is one of the major warranty insurance providers for new homes in the UK. Its other activities include the provision of services linked to house building and general construction, including energy ratings, health and safety, sustainability and training. It also provides industry statistics and benchmarking services.
BW says the scheme, previously advised by Aon Hewitt, will be led by Nuala Hedges, partner at Barnett Waddingham. She will be supported by Collette Graham and Sarah Allard, client account managers; Amy West, lead pension administrator and Nick Wilson, pension administrator.
Nuala Hedges, partner at Barnett Waddingham, said: “After a rigorous tender process, we are delighted to have been appointed to work with a high profile name in the house-building industry. This appointment is a reflection of commitment to our ongoing investment in the quality of our services for the benefit of our clients.”
Dame Yvonne Moores, chair of NHBC Pension Trustee Limited, said: “We were impressed by Barnett Waddingham in this competitive process and the Trustees are delighted with the appointment.”
