Institute of Financial Planning sponsor Hornbuckle Mitchell has appointed Alex Footman as its new marketing manager.
Mr Footman will take responsibility for the Sipp and Ssas provider’s marketing strategy, working on advertising, communication and digital marketing.
This is a new role at the company as the business focuses on developing its digital offering.
The firm is expected to offer a new eSipp at the end of 2012.
Mr Footman joins the firm from Barclays Corporate and has also worked for HSBC.
Mr Footman said: “A lot of hard work and focus has gone into building a compelling brand and I look forward to joining the team to support continued success. I am particularly excited about the progress we are making in the digital space as we continually seek to meet the growing needs of the advisory community.
