Sipps Professional is delighted to welcome two highly respected new columnists to join our blogging team.
The newcomers are Claire Trott, head of pensions technical at Talbot and Muir, and James Jones-Tinsley from Barnett Waddingham, a chartered financial planner and self-invested technical specialist.
They will be writing about the hot topics in the Sipps, SSAS and retirement planning markets, analysing and commenting on the biggest issues of the day.
The first columns from both experts were published this week and can be viewed here:
They join the team which already comprises Sipps veteran John Moret, known as Mr Sipp, the Principal of MoretoSipps, Mike Morrison, head of platform technical at AJ Bell, and AMPS Chairman Neil MacGillivray from James Hay.
Sipps Professional Editor Kevin O’Donnell said: “We are really pleased to add Claire and James, two leading specialists in the Sipp, SSAS and pensions sector as bloggers for Sipps Professional.
“We know that readers appreciate our already excellent team of bloggers and find they offer great insight into the latest goings on in this field.
“Claire and James will add even more excellent analysis and opinion in the coming months.”
Former AMPS chairman Andrew Roberts, meanwhile, is stepping down from his role as blogger after more than two years writing for us.
Kevin O'Donnell said: “We’d like to offer a sincere thanks to Andrew for all his hard work and his entertaining and insightful comments since Sipps Professional was launched in 2013 and look forward to hearing from again in future.”
