Trying to keep pace with Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah would daunt most people but for one Sipp specialist this is the challenge spurring him on.
Liam Williams, account manager at Curtis Banks, will be rubbing shoulders with the London 2012 double gold winner when he takes part in the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.
Farah is expected to run in the race as part of preparation for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Mr Williams, who has completed five half marathons previously, is going to be raising cash through his efforts for a cause which he said had touched family and friends.
Penny Brohn Cancer Care, a Bristol based charity who provide personalised support to sufferers, will benefit from the money he generates.
The pensions and Sipp specialist, who has previously worked for Hargreaves Lansdown, Sanlam, and Ascentric, has set himself a specific goal for the race.

He wants to finish it in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
He told Sipps Professional: "The biggest challenge for me is my competitive streak, I like to set tough challenges and am always pushing myself in every aspect of life.
"Last year I wanted to break the 1 hour 30 minute mark, which I failed by seconds on two different races – which was agonising. Next March I aim to hit 1 hour 15 minutes.
"The reason behind this crazy target is one man, Mo Farah, who will be using it as a casual training session before the Olympics in Rio. If I am going to be mixing it with the big boys, then I will need to raise my game.
"Probably more achievable is my second target of a pre race selfie with the Olympic Champion."
In preparation, he aims to run a further five half marathons in Wales and the South West of England.
Mr Williams said: "I also have my eye on one abroad, maybe Parma, giving me an excuse for a holiday too."
He said: "Running provides me with a double sense of achievement, firstly, being able to support a good cause and secondly, challenge myself physically and mentally. It also enables me to have a good work/life balance as it's a great way to de-stress, clear the mind and gives me a healthy break from pensions."
He added: "I try to do my bit to raise money and it's a great way to help promote the charity."
The race takes place in Cardiff on 26 March 2016.
