Sipp provider Westerby and investment manager Quilter Cheviot are teaming up to run technical seminars for advisers on SSASs and long term Financial Planning.
The first seminars were held in January at Quilter Cheviot's new offices in Snowhill, Birmingham and at the Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club.
Westerby Group outlined the huge changes to pensions due to arrive on 6 April, the advantages to family businesses of a Small Self-Administered Scheme and long term succession planning.
Quilter Cheviot investment managers focused on world investment markets and outlined the services they can provide to pension portfolios, particularly for SSASs for private companies.

Birmingham and Nottingham seminars were the first in a series of events to be delivered across the UK during the first quarter of 2015.
Steve Harvey, managing director, Westerby Group, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be teaming up with Quilter Cheviot as they roll out Financial Planning seminars to the professional adviser community.
"New pension regulations coming in on 6 April are truly ground-breaking and with so much happening in investment markets, there surely hasn't been a better time over the past few years to talk to clients about their retirement plans, investment strategies and long term tax planning. We advise any family business to review their affairs urgently before 5 April."
