Suffolk Life has set up a panel of solicitors in response to demand from investors and advisers who have found it hard to source legal expertise on commercial property.
The move includes reducing fees and is designed to enhance buying and selling commercial property within its Sipps.
Three firms - Birketts LLP, Bond Dickinson and Thrings – will form the panel.

Dominic Savage, Suffolk Life's property director, said: "The combination of Sipps and commercial property is a complex one.
"Advisers and investors are increasingly finding it difficult to access the appropriate expertise and experience they need from their legal representative, and the question 'can you recommend a solicitor to me' is fielded by my team ever more frequently."
The move includes a fee reduction for both property acquisition and disposal. These will be fixed for transactions where a panel solicitor is used – though investors can still use their own choice of solicitor.
Suffolk Life, which manages over 3,000 commercial properties on behalf of investors, said all panel solicitors have committed to a menu of fees for the services they offer.
