Stephen Wilson of Mattioli Woods
Pensions and wealth manager Mattioli Woods has increased its presence in Scotland with the appointment of new Sipp and SSAS consultant Stephen Wilson.
Mr Wilson joins Mattioli Woods with nearly 15 years' financial services experience. He previously worked for Wesleyan Medical Sickness as a financial consultant, specialising in retirement planning for the medical profession along with estate planning and family protection. Prior to Wesleyan, Mr Wilson worked for Standard Life for a number of years as a consultant in the individual space and corporate pensions arena.
Mr Wilson will be based at the Glasgow offices of Mattioli Woods' subsidiary and Scottish wealth management and employee benefits business, Kudos.
Jim Tennent, director at Kudos, said: "We are delighted to welcome Stephen to the group. This is a natural extension of our existing wealth management services and the addition of a dedicated consultant to the Scottish team will provide local clients with meaningful, strategic guidance on all aspects of their pension scheme".
Mr Wilson's appointment follows the recent high-profile acquisition of Ashcourt Rowan's pension business as well as the appointment to operate the HD SIPP.
