Barnett Waddingham consultant Sara Cook has been re-appointed as a director of the Pension Administration Standards Association.
She will hold the post for three years until 2016.
Ms Cook joined Barnett Waddingham earlier this year as a pension management consultant.
PASA was created in 2011 to define and drive forward standards of pension administration to improve member outcomes.
Ms Cook has already been a director for the past two years since launch and helped with the organisation's administration standards and industry guidance.
She said: "A great deal has been achieved in the two years since PASA was launched and the positive response we have received from the industry towards improving standards in pension administration is highly encouraging."

The next step for the organisation is to formally launch an accreditation scheme which recognises firms with good administration standards.
She said: "As part of a continuing drive to raise standards PASA will shortly formally launch an accreditation scheme to the industry. Organisations that achieve PASA accreditation will be formally recognised as operating administration practices that meet PASA standards.
"Barnett Waddingham is keen to commit the time and energy towards ensuring good practice throughout the industry and I will look forward to continuing this work as PASA refines its accreditation process."
