Sipp provider Taylor Patterson is holding its first CPD seminar for legal professions to help improve understanding of pension planning and trusts.
The firm gained accreditation from the Solicitors Regulatory Authority to provide CPD sessions in April.
It is the only financial advisory firm in the Lancashire region to hold this accreditation.
Its first CPD sessions will be held on 1 October at the firm's Preston offices and is accredited for one hour 15 minutes of CPD. Full-time solicitors are expected by the SRA to complete 16 hours of CPD each year.
Hosted by director Jason Street and Sipp and SSAS business development director Kerry Houghton, it will focus on pensions, wealth management and estate planning.

Through the use of case studies, the firm will help solicitors understand key aspects of estate planning and pension death benefits.
This will benefit solicitors by showing them how to protect families' finances for future generations.
Mr Street said: "We look forward to hosting the event, the first since gaining accreditation from the SRA, and for the chance to share our collective knowledge and expertise in the financial services industry.
"We look forward to working with solicitors to develop their skills for the benefit of clients."
