Pension Administrator – Redditch - £18,000 – £20,000 (2493)
Our client is a leading pension consultant and actuary; they provide a boutique service to trustees and employers which includes corporate pension consultancy, investment consultancy, scheme administration and actuarial services. Currently working out of two offices, their Redditch team requires a new addition, to assist the systems team leader with day to day project work.
Joining a team of 6, the pensions administrator will be working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth administration of client pension schemes; though the role will be less day to day pension administration and more systems based.
The successful applicant will need to be technically minded with a good knowledge of both DB and DC pension schemes, and must have the ability to carry out complex Manual calculations related to the schemes. You will be proficient in the use of ‘Excel’ and be a team player with a sound work ethic and ‘all hands on deck’ approach.
The office is based in a rural location with inadequate public transport links, so you will need to have a UK driving licence and access to own transport to get into work. You will need to have prior experience of working in a similar role so that you can be a support to the team from day one. Industry qualifications will be an advantage, or having the willingness to study towards obtaining.
