Elaine Turtle: People forget that Sipps are SELF invested
As we all know the FCA issued a consultation on the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) funding under CP16/42 and this is under review. The last time these rules were reviewed was in March 2013.

I would have to agree Elaine. I suspect however that it might be felt that the claims being paid now though are the result of investments being accepted pre 2013 by SIPP providers a few of whom should perhaps have known better and who sadly are no longer around to pay any levy in any event.
